Mr Chris Jenkins joined Wellington Bangkok in 2018 and is a founder teacher. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wales - Lampeter, a PGCE from the University of Wales - Carmarthen, and a Masters in Educational Leadership from Leicester University. Wellington Bangkok is Mr Jenkins' fourth international school: he has previously taught primary school children in Chiang Mai, Cairo and Shanghai, having started his career in the UK. Mr Jenkins teaching experience has been almost exclusively in the English National Curriculum, and he is passionate about the excellent all-round education it provides for young learners. His particular interests are Assessment for Learning techniques, the development of a Growth Mindset amongst students, as well as pastoral learning opportunities through Philosophy for Children.
