Mr Mark Kaye joined Wellington Bangkok in August 2023, starting to teach in Year 2 before moving to Year 1. He is very excited to be continuing in his role as Year 1 Coordinator next year. Prior to working at Wellington Bangkok, he worked in two other international schools in Bangkok for nine years, teaching across Key Stages 1 and 2. Mr Kaye graduated from Bath Spa University in 2008 with a combined honours degree in History and Drama studies. During his degree, Mr Kaye often volunteered in his own local primary school and spent his weekends working at a theatre school for children. These experiences inspired his passion for teaching. Mr Kaye then returned to Bath Spa University to complete his PGCE in 2010 before accepting his first full-time teaching post at a primary school in the Bath area. After spending 3 ½ years teaching in the UK, he moved to Thailand to work internationally.
