Jamie joined Wellington College Bangkok in 2020. He is Assistant Head of the Senior School and is also responsible for the academic timetables and administration of the school. Jamie read Engineering at Exeter University whilst also fostering his other great passion for music. He has led a varied life as a recording artist, producer and performer before finding his passion for teaching through Science and musical instruments. He came to Bangkok after leading the Professional learning and development of staff at St Andrew’s School, Turi, one of the leading international boarding schools in East Africa. He was also the head of Physics for the Senior School and the head of Science for the Preparatory school. Previously, he taught in the UK and has experience of teaching Science to children between the ages of 6 and 18, enjoying each year group equally. “I am passionate about teaching and learning and particularly teachers working together to improve themselves and the students in their care. I always encourage children to ask questions about the world and help them to believe that anything is possible for them, no matter where they start.”
