Kanchana Pawa joined Wellington College as a Senior School EAL teacher in August 2024. She holds a PGCE from The University of Nottingham and a TESOL certificate, which equip her with the skills and knowledge to support students effectively in their language acquisition journey. Her career in education began in 2007 when she joined an international school in Bangkok as an EAL teacher for primary school, and she has transitioned to the role of EAL Specialist teacher for secondary school students since 2019. "Teaching is my passion; I enjoy witnessing children develop and grow. Learning about different cultures from my students enriches my experience in the classroom, fostering an inclusive environment where every voice is valued. I eagerly look forward to becoming a part of the Wellington College community."
