Mr Neil Brown joined Wellington Bangkok as a Year 6 Class Teacher in August 2025. He previously taught Year 3 in Dubai and had also taught in all other KS2 year groups during his career in the UK and Dubai. At his most recent school, he led Science and had previously led Year 5 and Humanities. In these roles, he was responsible for subject curriculum development and for supporting the professional development of his colleagues. Mr Brown graduated with a BA in Media Studies from Sheffield Hallam University in 2003 before embarking on a career in the financial services industry.  He left a major UK insurance broker in 2016 to undertake his teacher training, pursuing his dream of becoming a primary school teacher.  Mr Brown graduated in 2017 and went on to complete an MA in education in 2019. Mr Brown is very much looking forward to welcoming your child to Year 6, getting to know them and your family.    “My family and I were excited to join the Wellington community. Teaching was both a privilege and a passion, and I looked forward to contributing to this dynamic and forward-thinking school. I believed in children being made to feel safe and empowered to take on challenges and learn from their experiences. I relished working with children and colleagues to create positive environments in which everybody could thrive. I wanted to inspire the children in my care as much as I had always been inspired by them. I looked forward to being part of the team!”
