Rayad graduated from the Royal College of Music and initially worked as a freelance performer before completing his teacher training and moving to classroom teaching. In the UK, he taught at two leading London Independent Schools before moving to his first international post, here in Bangkok, seven years ago. As well as academic teaching, Rayad has extensive experience of directing ensembles and choirs. He is always keen to showcase the musical talents of the students and share his passion to inspire their own musical enjoyment. “I see Music to be inclusive and not exclusive, as all learners have the ability to be creative; this could be through performing or composing, developing their musical awareness and knowledge”.
