Ms Lucy Blakeley joined Wellington Bangkok as a Year 3 Class Teacher in 2024. Prior to that, she was teaching Year 3 in Johor Bahru, Malaysia at a top international school. Ms Blakeley graduated from the University of Cumbria in 2012 with a degree in Primary Education. Upon graduating, she worked in Manchester for two years teaching across a range of year groups, before moving to Buckingham where she spent five years teaching in KS1. After Covid-19, Ms Blakeley decided it was time to fulfil her dream of teaching abroad and in 2022 moved to Malaysia, where she has worked as a teacher and the Designated Safeguarding and Wellbeing Lead for the Primary School. Ms Blakeley is excited to serve as the Year 3 Year Lead Coordinator. Ms Blakeley is very much looking forward to welcoming your child to Year 3, getting to know them and your family.
